He is survived by his mother Luisa and his wife, Daicy (Raben) Guarache and his sons Carlos Manuel, Rafael Eduardo, and Carlos Eduardo. His sisters, Yolanda and Mariela also survive him.
He was preceded in death by his father Carlos and his brother Vicente.
He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for 44 years in different companies in Venezuela. After that he earned his degree in education and taught fifth grade in Houston, teaching mathematics and science subjects from 2004 to 2014.
A Memorial Service for Carlos will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church, 13350 Ashford Point Dr. Houston. A committal service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd., Houston.
