Carolynne M. Peoples

Carolynne Merle Peoples, born October 4, 1940 in Houston Texas to Lawrence and Carrie Gilbert, went to be with the Lord September 22, 2018 in Houston Texas at the age of 77. Carolynne had a long, successful career in the insurance industry for almost 50 years, making many friends that became like family along the way. She was lovingly called “CP” by her coworkers. She had many life-long friends that she loved dearly, and they were known as the “Gang” and the “Golden Girls”. So many laughs, tears, and secrets with these beautiful friends. She was a wonderful mother to Roy and Lisa. Special mother-in-law to Chris, and a devoted Mimi to Carrie, Chelsea, Carson, Holli, Kyle, Carter, Jax, Bailey and Danielle. Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews, especially dear to her is Norman Gilbert. We all have so many special memories that we will forever cherish.

She is preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life, Roy Peoples Sr., brothers, Larry Gilbert and Buddy Gilbert, sister Nita Spengler, and daughter-in-law, Susie Peoples.
