Mr. Ramirez was born Aug. 12, 1937, in the Olmos Community to Teodulo V. and Epifania S. Ramirez. He graduated from Skidmore-Tynan ISD in 1958 and was retired from the Department of Interior.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Teodulo and Epifania Ramirez; and a son, Teodulo “Teddy” Ramirez.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Hernandez Ramirez of Houston; a daughter, Donna (Aldo) Banda of Houston; two sons, Cervando Angelo Ramirez and Ralph (Guadalupe) Ramirez, both of Houston; six grandchildren, Aldo Manuel, Angela, Erica, Antony and Christopher Banda and Madeline Ramirez; three brothers, Carlos S. (Concepcion) Ramirez of Beeville and Flumencio S. Ramirez and Arturo (Estella) Ramirez, both of Victoria; a sister, Felipita Villanueva of Houston; and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
