

Charles graduated from Southwest Texas State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Arts. He also joined the Air Force in 1953 and was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
Charles moved his family to Cypress, Texas in 1973 to teach for Cy-Fair ISD and be closer to Boys Country where he volunteered. He then retired from teaching and founded, Nash Printing Co of Cypress, Texas in 1981.
He was a member of Houston Northwest Church, a part of Walk to Emmaus Walk #4 and Kairos Prison Ministries. His favorite past time was working with Christian ministries.
He was survived by his wife, Theresa Irene Nash, who he was married to for 68 years, his 3 daughters, Kimberly Terese Ater, spouse, Richard Ater, Kelly Beth Thomas, spouse, Dale Thomas, Kara Dell Nicholson, spouse, Trey Nicholson. His grandchildren, Brandy Redfearn, spouse, Jason Redfearn, Kasey Brown, spouse, Clayton Brown, Chuck Ater, spouse Brittany Ater, Emily Nicholson, Tara Thomas, Lauren Nicholson. His great grandchildren, Jodie Redfearn, Jacob Redfearn, Peyton Ater, Kolby Brown, Lyla Ater, Karsyn Brown.
He is preceded in death by his father, George Amos Nash and mother, Esther Moselle Hays and his brother, Ernest George Nash. And survived by his sister-in -law, Donna Rae Nash and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Funeral services will be held at the American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX Visitation will be March 31, 2025 from 4:00-8:00pm and funeral services will be April 1, 2025 at 10:00 am. Burial will be at 11:30 at the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX. Reception to follow burial at the American Heritage Funeral Home from 12-2:00pm.
