Charles Shannoah Smith

Charles is survived by his beautiful, dedicated, loving wife of 26 years, Pamela Thomas Smith, his lovely mother Stella Mae Smith, his two lovely sisters Gwendolyn Sharlene Singleton (spouse Bryan Keith Singleton and sons David Emanuel, Nathaniel Keith and Timothy Grant), and Tikesha LaShea’ Smith, his uncle Freddie Taylor and a merit of cherished and supportive cousins, in-laws and friends.

Charles was predeceased by his father Charlie Grant Smith.

In 1990 Charles dedicated his life in service to Jehovah. Upon graduation from high school in 1996, he studied electrical and computer engineering and obtained various licenses and certifications in the Information Technology field. Charles met his wife Pamela in Houston, Texas and married on June 19, 1999. In lieu of having children, they decided to raise, with love, three fur babies (dogs) named Kemah Smith (Alaskan Husky), Raven Pilar Smith (Yorkshire Terrier) and King Smith (Boxer). Charles had a successful career in the IT security (cybersecurity) industry. He had a passion for motorcycle riding, fishing, and cooking.

Services for Charles Smith will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039, followed by a repass from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
