Charlyne Pettus passed away on March 22, 2015 in Houston, TX. She was born on July 2, 1921 in Tulsa, OK to Laudie and Martha Wilson. Charlyne graduated from Daniel Webster High School of Tulsa, OK in 1939. She has been an active member of Beta Sigma Phi since 1955. Charlyne moved to Houston in 1964. She has been a member of St. Phillips United Methodist Church since 1974.
She is survived by her daughters, Robbie Thomas and husband, William and Rebecca “Becky” Campbell and husband, Frank; son, Michael S. Pettus; grandchildren, Travis M. Campbell and wife, Susan, Derek M. Pettus and wife, Brittany, Sterling M. Pettus, Sterling M. Campbell, and Kevin H. Thomas and wife, Karen; great grandchildren, Ava Grace Pettus, Hannah Marie, Campbell and Cooper Thomas
Charlyne will be missed by all who had the honor to know and love her!
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 23, 2015 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077
