Chevy D. Gurrola was born in Oakhurst Texas on October 10, 1929, and went home to be with her Lord on July 20, 2018.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Dominguez and Norberta Cano Dominguez; her loving husband, Victor Gurrola; and son, Joseph Gurrola.

Chevy is survived by her children, Victor J. Gurrola and wife Mary Ann, Martin J. Gurrola, and Jane T. Gurrola; brother, Johnny Dominguez and wife Chandra; 5 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other friends and loved ones.

The family will receive friends and loved ones at a visitation on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 6-9 pm at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service for Chevy will be held at Brookside Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 9:30am, with burial in Brookside Memorial Park to follow.
