Christian was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on December 13th, 1994, to Andrea Maricela (Chavez) Pinto and Omar Fernando Chavez. He was their third born and little brother to Crystal and Andrés Chavez. Christian was born in Florida but was raised in Texas prior to the age of 1; hence proudly represented H-Town.
Since childhood, Christian was given the nickname “Chunks”. Christian graduated high school in 2013 from George Bush High School. He then pursued his Barber License. Christian remained true to his entrepreneurial essence. Beginning from his early years, he sold candy at school; and much later moved on to profit from his culinary streak by whipping up to-go lunch boxes.
Christian was a free spirited, fun-loving, respectful young man. He was a human ray of sunshine. His signature smile would light up any room as soon as he stepped in. Christian had many qualities, but his heart of gold and generous, kind spirit were his strongest attributes. Christian had a carefree soul. This was made evident by his distinctive sense of humor and his wacky dance moves. He lived and enjoyed every day to the fullest. One would never know, just by looking at him, the load which was weighing heavy on his mind. He was our big, cuddly teddy bear. All he projected was his genuine smile and his "I got this" attitude. Christian was a loving son, a wonderful brother, a caring grandson, an incredible nephew, a stand-up brother-in-law, a proud and devoted uncle, and an amazing friend to many.
Christian is survived by his parents, Maricela (Daniel) Pinto and Fernando (Teresa) Chavez; his siblings, Crystal (Don) Staten, Andres (Nicole) Chavez and Daniella Sky Chavez; his paternal grandmother, Maria Nohora Pinzon de Chavez; His Aunts and Uncles, Eydie (Enrique) Corneiro, Angie ( Janel) Perez, Constanza (Andres) Montoya, Raul (Ines) Chaves, Ruben (Myriam) Chaves, Ricardo (Luz Amanda) Chavez and Piedad Chavez; First cousins Ebony Corneiro, Angelo (Julie) Paredes, Nino and Kenzo Paredes, Angel and Janel Perez, Raul Alfonso and Daniel Fernando Chavez, Carolina, Michelle, and Melissa Chavez, Camilo Andres and Johanna Chavez, Diana Marcela and Bivyan Ayala, Jorge Eduardo and Jessica Tatiana Vasquez; His nieces and nephew, Savannah, Lailah, Charlotte Staten, Faith Chavez and Lorenzo Paredes.
Christian was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Andrea Vazquez and Oscar Rodriguez and his paternal grandfather Alfonso Chavez.
