

Chris Riquelme was born into a loving family in Houston Texas. His father John Riquelme and mother Ilse Riquelme saw their son grow up to be a loving and kind man who is loved by many friends and family. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, raising many pets, being with his friends and cousins in his formative years.
Chris graduated from high school at St. Thomas in Houston TX. He later graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology with the honors of Cum Laude and Minored in Industrial Distribution.
After graduation he pursued a career in accounting and technology. He volunteered at Neighborhood Tax Centers preparing individual tax returns for low income families and elderly. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful Uncle to his nephews Christian and Adam-Gael.
Prior to his father passing in 2020 he supported his parents by taking his father to classes, the library, movies and driving them to physicians, appointments and helping them to manage their household. During the Pandemic he supported his mother with oversight of the hospice care for his father and caring for his mother and their home during those difficult times.
He is survived by his mother, Ilse Riquelme, his brother John Riquelme, his sister-in-law Becky Riquelme and two nephews Christian and Adam-Gael who will miss him dearly. He has family that live in North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, California, Oregon and Chile that love him and will miss him greatly.
