Christopher Michael Johnson

Christopher Michael Johnson born, September 25, 1972 went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2015. Chris worked for Cactus Drilling Company in Odessa, Texas and died in Andrews County of an auto accident while on the job. At Cactus Drilling, Chris was a top drive technician on oil rigs. Chris was always full of life and had a big smile on his face. He was a very loving father to his two sons Aaron and Corey. All of the young people in the neighborhood would be at Chris' house when he was home. There was usually a ball game or race on television and all of them would watch it. Everyone loved being around Chris; he was always full of life and very funny. Rarely was he a serious person unless he had to be; he enjoyed life. He is survived by his sons, Aaron Johnson and Corey Johnson; his mother, Brenda Johnson; his grandmother, Florence Johnson; his brother, David Nicklaus Smith. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Melvin Leon Johnson; his uncle, Billy Wayne Johnson and his cousin, Tina Fridel. Chris is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He also leaves his fiancee Charlotte Brown. Chris will be missed by everyone. The visitation will be April 30, 2015 at Brookside Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be at Brookside Funeral Home on May 1, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
