Cliff and Patsy met and went on their first date to a casino charity event on October 15, 2010. They had a marriage full of love and laughter while they explored the world together. Most of their disputes came from Cliffs love of democracy and his eclectic taste for interior design. Their favorite trip was to Europe, all the sights, smells, and amazing food is always an amazing memory that is held near and dear.
Cliff was passionate about his long career of Architectural Design, which came along with lifelong friends and colleagues. He considered knowledge to be power, wisdom to be wealth, and love and kindness were never to be wasted. Favorite pass times for Cliff included floating in his pool, traveling with his wife, and riding his bike; one of many accomplishments he had was completing the BPMS 150. He loved living life, testing limits, and having a rich vocabulary.
He prided himself on supporting his children, whether it was taking them to their sports practices, going on family vacations, or just being there to lend an ear. A quote he would always use is “You never realize how far the umbilical cord stretches.” Some of the core values he taught his children were family is everything, be kind to everyone, and the answer is always no unless you ask. His hour long well intended lectures will be missed, along with his home cooking and his laugh.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held June 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Rd., Houston, Texas 77077. The family will receive guests at 1:00 PM.
