Clinton H. King of Houston, Texas passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010. He was born on November 8, 1923, in Epps, Louisiana to Zilla Davis King and Sam Houston King. Clint, was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin & Monica King, Kyle & Sandra King; grandchildren, Kilby King, Stephen Hayes, Stratton King, Collin King, Brooks Hayes, Ryan Hayes, Reese King, and Bryson King. He was married for over 60 years to Elizabeth B. King who passed away in November of last year.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 18, 2010, in the chapel at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, 11612 Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas, 77024. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 6977 Main St., Houston, Texas 77030.
