

Clinton Charles Robinson Sr was born February 7, 1948 in Polk County, Texas to Johnnie Lee Robinson, her first and only child. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, Andrew Loings.
Our beloved father, Clinton Robinson Sr. passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025 at 1:31 am, in the care of Reliant at Home Hospice at the age of 77, he was surrounded by his loving family and friends in his final moments. He was a man of immense humor and wisdom who treasured every second he spent with his loved ones. Reliant at Home Hospice went above and beyond to ensure he had the utmost quality of care.
Clinton Robinson Sr accepted and acknowledged his faith in Christ at a young age and grew up in a Baptist Church. Our dad would always say if the “Lord Spare.”
Clinton was a member of Blue (Consistory) Lodge and served as the Master of the lodge for 48 years. He will be dearly missed. Clinton Robinson Sr. was of Cherokee descent.
Clinton worked in the Trucking Industry for 59 years then went onto entrepreneurship where he owned and operated Robinson and Son Trucking (dedicated to my brother, Norwood Hawkins until his retirement in Houston, Texas. His dedication to the company was unparalleled.
Clinton was a committed man with many interests, but his love for music stood out. He loved music his entire life. He especially enjoyed listening to blues, soul and zydeco by musicians like Tyrone Davis, Johnnie Taylor and Keith Frank Clinton was a true race car driver as a young man where he won several local championships. His courageous racing style and fierce determination earned him the nickname “Killer” in the racing world.
He found great satisfaction in lifting weights maintaining a strong and healthy lifestyle through his exercise routine.
Clinton lived life to the fullest like riding his motorcycle (back in the day) and for his love of
firearms. “Dad’s infectious laughter will be deeply missed.” So here’s to you, Dad.

Clinton was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Lee Robinson, his stepfather, Andrew Loings and his son, Norwood Hawkins.
To cherish his precious memories Clinton leaves 8 children: son, Clinton Charles Robinson Jr; daughters, Tonya Hawkins, Marilyn Agnew, Sophia Robinson (Roderick),
Veronica Robinson, Erica Robinson (Vincent), Reba Robinson and Toshia Robinson; Grandchildren: Calvinique Freeman (Ashley), Cinaya Moore, Daytona Lee, Marquette Johnson II and Chovanique Lee; Great-Grandsons: Kaleo Freeman-Santamaria and August Williams Artis (AJ) and a host of loving grandchildren, family and friends. Also survived by the mother of his children Canary Ann Robinson, Linda Hawkins and Debra Ellis. His beloved “other wives club”, Mary Williams.
