

C. M. Biederstadt Jr. born in Dallas on the 26th of April 1923 to Viola and Conrad Max Biederstadt. He attended UT before enlisting in the V5 program as he prepared to become a Naval pilot. He served aboard the carrier USS Lexington (Blue Ghost) to fly the Grumman HellCat. Married Joyce Mahanay on the 1st of December 1945.
Survived by wife, Joyce; daughter, Susan Joye Lee; son, Michael Biederstadt; daughter-in-law, Cathy Biederstadt; grand children, Ryan Lee, Jennifer Cofield her husband Tyler Cofield, Carrie Biederstadt and Emily Biederstadt; great granddaughter, Katy Cofield.
His career included construction management and real estate appraisal. A member of Second Baptist Church he served the Lord as a Sunday school teacher, deacon and a social director of the Encouragers.
The funeral service is to be conducted at half-past nine o’clock in the morning on Monday, the 24th of June, in the Hankamer Chapel at Second Baptist, 6400 Woodway Drive in Houston, where Rev. Lee Maxcy, Associate Pastor, is to officiate.
The interment service is to be conducted at five o’clock in the afternoon, also on Monday, at Alvarado Cemetery in Alvarado, Texas.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that contributions be directed to the Second Baptist Church Encourager’s Class Mission Fund, 6400 Woodway Dr., Houston, TX, 77057.
