Cyrus Shalilian, 30, a beloved son, brother, friend, and guardian to all, from Houston, Texas, passed away on the morning of Sunday October 27th, 2024. Born on January 22, 1994, to Reza and Mansoureh Shalilian, Cyrus lived his life to the fullest extent. What Cyrus achieved in 30 years, some people could not do in a lifetime.
Cyrus’s passions were cars, guns, fireworks, and helping others. He was always the life of the party. His smile could light up beyond a million rooms. His laugh was infectious. Cyrus had a knack for coining words and phrases that would catch on: jambor, top quality guy, TERRY!, mash mish, and on and on and on. His favorite place on earth was Mecum Auctions. From car dealerships to law firms, Cyrus was always spearheading successful ventures. He only knew success.
Cyrus was everyone’s go-to guy. He was The Fixer. If you had a problem, no matter what time it was, he was there for you. If he didn’t know the answer, he knew someone. He always knew someone. If you live in Houston, you were only one degree of separation from Cyrus. He and his legacy will be remembered by all, but especially by his parents; his sister, Ida; his crisper Diesel; and the Romo family.
Please join us to remember Cyrus at the Texas Liberty Mausoleum at Memorial Oaks Cemetery at noon on Friday, November 1st with the burial to follow.
There will be a reception to follow at Hyatt Regency Houston West. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Cyrus's name to Wheels for Wishes or Houston Audubon.
