Daisy Etta Robinson

Daisy Etta Sutton Robinson was born in Eagle Lake, Texas, on July 12, 1914, to the proud parents of Tommie and Hattie Sutton. Daisy received her formal education from the public school system in Eagle Lake. Daisy confessed Christ at an early age, and was a devoted faithful member of Greater Pleasant Grove Baptist Church for many years. She was faithful and dutiful serving the Lord at her church. She was the Secretary of the finance committee, member of the Prayer Brand along with several other committies, as well as a songtress in the choir. Daisy answered the Master's call on Monday, January 23, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51yrs., Johnnie Robinson; her parents;and five siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory one loving daughter and son-in-law: Inez Stover-Williams (Carlton); Granddaughter: Tatyanna Michelle Williams; three step-children: Johnnie Robinson,Jr., Zelma Stewart and Stella Parks. She also leaves behind siblings: Modesta Gibson, Lena Robinson, Catherine Wilson, Margaret McGrew and Clara Jackson, along with a host if other relatives and friends. Services for Mrs. Robinson will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012, with a visitation from 10:00-10:50AM. Homegoing Services will follow at 11:00AM. Both services will be held at Greater Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1823 DeWalt St., Houston, Texas 77088. Interment to follow at Paradise North Cemetery.
