

Ted was born in Osijek, Croatia, on the 27th of June 1965. His family immigrated to North Hollywood, California, in 1967. Ted attended Strathern St. Elementary, Sun Valley Jr. High and graduated from John H. Francis Polytechnic High School, with a 4.0 GPA. It was there where he met the love of his life, Fabby Morones. After sweeping her off her feet, they were married on the 15th of September 1991, and were together for 36 years. Ted and Fabby had one son, Joshua Paul Tudic, who is 14 yrs. of age.
Ted then went on to attend DeVry University in Phoenix, Arizona, later transferring to the campus in Pomona, California, to be closer to home. He graduated Valedictorian with a Bachelor’s in Electronic Engineering Technology. He was a charter member of the Tau Alpha Pi national honor society.
GE Medical Systems courted and hired Ted immediately out of college. He worked as a field engineer, specializing in MRI Scanners. He transferred to Houston in 1995 with GE and worked in the prestigious Medical Center under the tutelage of Jeff Jones.
Ted and Fabby, along with business partner Rob Maly, began Polaris Medical Imaging in 2006, building the small “two guys and a tool bag” company into a multi-million dollar business. Ted was admired for his honesty and integrity in conducting his business. The business was sold in 2015 yet Ted continued to work through the transition retiring in 2016.
Ted enjoyed life to the fullest. Ted was a talented musician, playing a 12-piece drum set. In his teen years he enjoyed dirtbike riding and was an excellent hockey skater. Snow skiing and golfing were his passions while living in California. Moving to Texas, he continued to enjoy golfing and began to play poker becoming a proficient and formidable opponent.
Ted is preceded in death by his dad, Antun Tudic. He is survived by his wife, Fabby; his son, Joshua P. Tudic; his mother, Nada Kovacevic; his sister, Branka McBride and her husband Edward, and their two children, Matthew and Megan. Ted also leaves behind his Morones Family, father-in-law, Manuel Morones; brothers-in-law, Joel Morones and his four children, Manny Morones and his wife Marie, and their two children; sisters-in-law, Claudia Ruzich and her husband Alex, and their two children, and Edith Morones Rojas and her three children.
A memorial service and celebration of his life is to be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 4th of August, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
Immediately following, all are invited to greet his family during a reception to be held in the adjacent grand foyer.
