It started at Nations Bank when you were just a baby, 19 years old to be exact.  We instantly became friends and the friendship of a lifetime began. I will always treasure the rushed trips to your house for lunch and the drives after work in your moms Cadillac or your dads blazer and if we got lucky one of your brothers cars with the top down listening to music. You were there as we went to college together.  Many late night dinners at Tan Tan or a small taqueria were had. You never said no and you always went with a smile.  Road trips we taken in those days all filled with laughter and sense of adventure including our first girls trip to Cancun.  We always celebrated your birthday extra special because you were a special baby born on very special day. All of these things and more will forever be part of our youth. Then we grew up and more chapters were added including manis and pedis, massages at fiori , your wedding, my surgery and you helped to take  care of me.  Tree trimming parties, bingo night, fondu parties where we ate too much, coordinating schedules to get our hair done and our summertime lunches. It was at our last summer lunch that you were determined to celebrate my significant birthday that COVID had taken from us. I told you I had never been to Las Vegas and you decided that you would show me Las Vegas through your eyes. In typical Dao fashion you planned the entire trip perfectly. I will always remember that last trip dearly.  Dao 28 years was not enough and one day again we will be singing that Donna Lewis song that will always remind me of you -  I love you always forever

Dao was a very kind and lovely soul that will be remembered forever.  She was a wonderful wife to my brother Eddie, very supportive and encouraging.  She was an excellent listener and could read anyone.   I admired her confidence, wittiness, and spunk.  She will be always be missed.

Such an awesome person! Always that brilliant smile next to Eddie!

Eddie and Dao generously helped us clean our home and salvage things after hurricane Harvey.   She was ferocious with a pressure washer.  And she was precious.  I called her “Barbie Dao”.  Our deepest condolences for the loss of such a beautiful young woman.

Visited with Dao and Eddie in Hong Kong in May, 2008.  Took the air boat ferry to Macao and spent a wonderful (and exhausting) day there.

Trip to Las Vegas with Dao's parents to celebrate Eddie and Dao's  wedding, 2008-Oct

Dao was a loving, humble person.   I miss spending time with Dao.   

We were so very heartbroken to hear that Dao passed.  She was one of the nicest people I ever met and she will be missed.  Eddie, we love you and are here for anything you need.  Godspeed, Dao.

I will never forget the family get togethers we shared.  I will miss you, your smile and love you very much! 

Beverly and I wish to offer our most sincere condolences to Doa's family for her passing. We've never met Doa but she is part of our extended family by marriage, and we know that she was a beautiful person inside and out and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
