Dario Morales, born on February 5, 1968, passed away on November 27, 2025, in Cypress, Texas. A lifelong resident of the Houston area, Dario graduated from Jeff Davis High School and went on to build a dedicated career with Compaq and later with Goodman, where he worked for many years.
Dario is preceded in death by his father, also named Dario Morales.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Caroline Morales; his son, Matthew Montelongo; and his grandchildren, Ethan and Cameron Montelongo. He is also survived by his mother, Elodia Morales; his brother Rey and wife Thelma, along with their daughters, Isabel, Angelina, and Amorosa; his brother-in-law Jay Montelongo and his children, Austin, Alyssa, and Ashley; his brother- and sister-in-law Hector and Josie, and their children, Ariana and Jacob; and his father-in-law, Joe Montelongo.
Dario had a warm and giving spirit that touched everyone around him. He treasured the simple joy of weekend breakfasts with his father-in-law, Joe. He was an enthusiastic Hot Wheels collector and shared this passion with close friends, often meeting up to trade and sell pieces from his collection. His love for the hobby brought him a sense of community and friendship.
As an uncle, Dario was deeply caring—always ready to give advice, offer guidance, or deliver a much-needed lecture if the moment called for it. He remembered every birthday in the family and made a point to call personally, offering heartfelt well-wishes that meant so much to those he loved.
Dario will be missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
