Darlene Emilie Witte, 78, passed away on June 9, 2011. She is preceded in death by parents: Henry Jahns and Laura Krueger; son-in-law, Stanley Elliott; brother-in-law, Melvin Lewis. She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Havert Witte; daughters: Linda Diane Barrett and husband Bill, Verna Kay Spurgeon and husband Ralph; grandchildren: Linda Michelle Elliott and dedicated companion Gina Baudat, Howard Keith Elliott and wife Jessica, Brandon Michael Spurgeon and wife Becky, Eric Matthew Spurgeon and wife Marsi; great grandchildren: Hayden Michael Spurgeon, Carson Andrew Spurgeon, and one great grandson on the way; brother, Wallace Henry Jahns and wife Janice; sister, Laverna Lewis; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family & friends. The family will receive friends from 5-8PM on Sunday, June 12, 2011. Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday, June 13, 2011. Both services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
