David Noe Cantu

David Noe Cantu, age 80, of Houston, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. David was born in Alamo, Texas to Merced and Guadalupe Cantu. David was raised in Houston, Texas where he worked as a car salesman. David was an avid golfer that later became the golf Marshall at Sharpstown Golf Course. He was a true cowboy, always known for wearing his cowboy hat and boots.

David is preceeded in death by his parents Guadalupe Cantu and Merced Cantu, his brother Jose Manuel Cantu, granddaughter Mila Maria Gonzales and his grandson Manuel Alex Garza. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Virginia Garcia Cantu, son David Cantu (Natalie), Vincent Cantu, Michael Cantu (Juliana), Diana Cantu Brewster (David), Daniel Cantu, Christina Cantu, Maria Cantu Gonzales (Michael), 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. David is also survived by 3 sisters and 3 brothers along with many, many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for David will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A rosary service will occur Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 5:00 pm, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2405 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A committal service will follow Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas 77023.
