David Isaac Cisneros

David Isaac Cisneros, Jr, 77, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully at home with family Sunday morning March 19, 2023. David was born on February 9, 1946 in Houston, Tx. He was preceded in death by his father David Cisneros, Sr and foster family Mary and Juanita Gutierrez. He survived by his loving wife Rosemary of 49 1/2 years, son Rodney Cisneros, son in law Jamie Cisneros, daughter Natasha Schuett, grandson Ryder Schuett and brother Larry Rimmer plus numerous relatives.

David enlisted in the Navy at the young age of 17 in 1963 and served through 1969. He was so proud of the time he served our Country and enjoyed that he got to visit so many different ports in the Caribbean and Europe. He loved to share the outlandish experiences he had while serving.

In his younger days, he loved the times he went hunting. He especially enjoyed his hobby of skeet shooting and proud of the awards he received. But his favorite was traveling, whether it was a weekend trip or annual vacation. He always looked forward to our next vacation but was always happy to return to his home. He loved his family and friends. He will truly be missed by all. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, respect and a wonderful sense of humor.

At this time his family would like to thank all personnel at Encompass/Enhabit for their tender care of David. Much gratitude to our neighbors who never hesitated to assist in helping David. A special thanks to family and friends for their love and support.

A visitation for David will be held Monday, April 3, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A funeral service will occur Monday, April 3, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Monday, April 3, 2023 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
