David Earl Otwell went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2017. He was born on April 6, 1949 in Houston, Texas to parents Earl and Mildred Otwell. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend that will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Rebecca Otwell; daughters: Shari Otwell-Kitzmiller and her husband J.R. and Dee Blair and her husband William; grandchildren: Kelby Engram, Michaela Kitzmiller, Landon Engram and Bentlee Blair; brothers: Wesley Otwell and his wife Kathy and Richard Otwell and his wife Kathy and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. David is preceded by his parents.
The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Spring Baptist Church, 633 East Louetta Road, Spring Texas 77373 followed by a burial in Brookside Memorial Park and Cemetery.
