First, sincere condolences to all the family for the passing of Debra. I had seen her on several occasions when she came to visit Norma and Ray at the Lake, or for a birthday celebration for someone. But I got to know her better when I helped her by getting all the names and addresses of Norma and Ray's friends to her for Norma and Ray's 40th Surprise Wedding Anniversary Party, given by her family. I think Norma figured out something was happening, but we enjoyed surprising them. Debra will be missed greatly. ❤️


I am so sorry about your mom. She was very proud of all you kids and  grandchildren and loved you so much. I am saying prayers of comfort and peace for all of you. Love and hugs.

Continue 5. Aunt Debbie and I took a trip to Lake Jackson to pick up Mema Craymer we went to take her to get her hair done, and to the bank . Then the three of us went to Galveston to the boardwalk so I could get a shirt I really had Aunt Debbie walking that day while pushing Mema Craymer in her wheelchair. Before we left we went to a fish restaurant there (this is when the fun begins) Mema Craymer starts hitting on the waiter and Aunt Debbie streets to feel a bit embarrassed and shaking her head at her on the car ride home Mema streets to play match maker in the other cars she that one's mine and you can have that one what do you think of that one two cars over. Debbie you can have this one  and Aunt Debbie just ignores her and said Sally don't listen to her she's gone nuts but all in all it was a fun day with them two. 6. Helping Aunt Debbie clean up the house when we were kids and would get a lot done in one night. She would fold clothes and tell Mary and I where it would go. The bathrooms would also get cleaned, all dirty clothes would be separated by color to be washed. 7. She would come by to play Farkel or play chicken foot and she would tell stories about when her, my Mom and Uncle Doug were younger on the farm and what they would do which I enjoy hearing those types of stories. One was that her and Uncle Doug put my Mom in a tub and pushed her down a hill while my Mom was scared to death. Aunt Debbie would drive the tractor on high and my Mom had to hold on for dear life to go get something cold to drink. There were many more like I said I could go on for ever. 

There are so many to choose from. 1. When she needed breakfast food she loaded all six of us in to the crown Victoria and drove to the store  and said you three older ones go get 2 dozen of eggs, a thing of bacon, milk, two cans of biscuits, orange juice, bead, some bologna, and mayo BJ and I were about eight Mikey was about 7 and we came out with everything she said. Not there was nothing written down. She was shocked. She thought we wouldn't remember much and get a lot of junk food. 2. When she let Mike and I make brownies and used the mixer I was about 5 and Mikey was about 4 Mikey did want to hold the mixer so he gave it to me and I got the batter all over Mikey and everywhere else I just knew I was going to be in big trouble when she came back to see how we were doing. She had Mikey change his shirt and said you will have to wait a while before using the mixer again because of this mess. 3. I went to washing her hair ant tried to get the other side of her head and sprayed down her shirt by accident. She said woo that's cold I didn't say I need a bath but she stood at the sink for over 20 minutes that day without her walker. Rhonda got on the other side of her and made sure I got all of the soap out. By the time I was done the floor was all wet and I dried it up with a towel. But we were all laughing. 4. She came by my house and called the house number and wanted me to come outside to clip her toe nails so I sat down on the end of the driveway clipping her nails and she saw one of the neighbors outside and said get in line Sally's doing a curbside nail clipping.  The neighbor said what did you say so she repeated it again  and they just laughed and said really.  That's cool. I seem to be the only one who could cut her and Mom's thick toenails with out cutting their toes. I could go on but I guess that's enough for now. 

Debra, first I miss you! We have a ton of memories that I will cherish always. I heard often how you worried about your children and their families. You wondered what God had in mind, Debra, you have done an awesome job along with your husband, Robert. Now you can both watch over them together! How bout we get the 11 grandchildren and nephews and nieces 17 more blankets! Wasn't that fun!? Love you and I PRAY you are dancing and walking in Heaven. Rest in Peace, My Friend. Rhonda Dickens

Our fun times with singing to the music, dancing, playing farkle, dominos, playing poker for the holidays. Helping you with cleaning, filing was fun for me. I love helping you. You will be missed for sure. I know you wanted an update before facebook post especially for my journey to regilious life. I will our coversation. But i know your not suffering anymore, having long nights and days. You loved to give me the word search when you couldnt locate a word, i would find less then 10 minute unless a missed spelled word.

Debbie was a beautiful and kind woman, a friend for life.  We had such fun at the Halloween parties, 4th of July backyard barbecues, and Christmas parties! I remember the times our families spent together at the Great Southern picnics. All the laughs and a few tears along the way. I will cherish the memories forever, my dear friend. Rest dear angel.
