Dolores Evelyn Alvarez

Dolores was employed by Conoco-Philips as an International Information Service Technician and retired from her position after 34 years of service. Dolores loved attending Houston sporting events and traveled many times to opposing team games to support the Astros baseball team and Texans football team. She also loved to travel to her favorite beach destinations for vacationing, often with friends and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Alvarez Sr. and mother, Manuela (Mela) Alvarez, Brother Frank Alvarez Jr. and nephew Ralph E. Alvarez.

She is survived by brother, Ralph A. Alvarez and wife Vera, nephew Michael Alvarez, niece Vanessa Habachy and Husband Steve, niece Monica Alvarez, Aunt Esther Martinez and numerous extended family cousins. Special recognition to cousins Dorothy Westfall, Denise Westfall, Ruben Garcia, and Beatrice Garcia for their support and prayers during her illnesses.

Thanks are extended also to Letitia Golden and her father Iveyson Golden for care given during her illness.

A graveside service for Dolores will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
