“Don, Donnie, Bull”

Donald Patrick Drew, born March 29, 1948, of Houston, Texas, passed away October 5, 2021, at the age of 73.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Margaret Drew; brothers, James Drew and William Drew; and niece, Patricia Nall.

He is survived by his nieces, Michele Cochran and Denise Leach; nephew, Joe Drew; Sister in laws, Wanda Drew and Mary Drew; and great nephews and nieces.

He attended Christ the King Catholic School and graduated from John H. Reagan High School in 1966.

After attending the University of Houston, He joined the US Navy in 1967.

He served until 1973 receiving an honorable discharge. During his tour in the Vietnam era, he served on the U.S.S. Berkeley.

Being a proud patriot and a Civil War history enthusiast, he visited numerous battlefields and enjoyed camaraderie with those interested in the Civil War.

He was an avid gun collector and took special interest in Corvette’s.

He spent most of his career as a sales representative for several beverage distributors along the Gulf Coast of Texas.

He loved his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
