Donald "Don" Wayne Riles was born on February 3, 1956, in Houston, Texas to Lorine Davis and Clarence Agnew. He was the oldest of his siblings: Clarence "Thang", JD "Woodie", Justina "Pookie", and Todd "Dunebug". He graduated high school from M.B. Smiley. When Don was younger, they called him Peaches". He stayed sharply dressed and smelling good.
Right after graduation Don started his new life with Elenor Riles on November 7, 1974, and was married for 50 years. The journey of marriage and family led him to start working at Reliant. He was with Reliant for 31 years. He worked his way up from meter reader to supervisor during that time. He loved to travel with his family for vacation and work.
Don retired from Reliant and started a lawn care service with his wife and sons, known as Riles and Son's Landscaping. He also started working for Spring ISD Transportation in 2008. He was with Spring for 15 years. He enjoyed his retirement and would always say "I am just chilling and laying on my money". Don had no problem doing side hustle jobs with his sons to get extra money, even if he didn't need it.
Don loved family events. He loved playing cards and dominoes with everyone. He would talk to people everywhere we go; people in the grocery store and all the neighbors knew him. Everyone knew Don, he was always laughing at something. He kept money in his wallet and would hide it in the little slots and when he would open it to give you something he would tell us, "You are being too nosey with what is in this wallet" then laugh hard.
Donald Wayne Riles departed this life on June 29, 2025, and was preceded by his mother Lorine Davis, his father Clarence Agnew, his stepdad JD Davis, and his son Douglas Riles.
