Donna Grace Cadden

December 17, 1962 to January 27, 2014. Preceded in death by her parents Harold and Edna Harper and sister, Mary Wanda Harper McGregor; she is survived by husband Jack, daughter Amanda Cadden Carsey and husband Phillip, sons Jack Ross and Samuel Cadden, grandchildren Madison and Phillip Carsey, sisters Kathy Taylor, husband Roger, Terrie Johnson, husband Bill, brother Harold Otis Harper, Jr., brother-in-law Fred Cadden, wife Marilene, nieces: Heather, Brandy, Hannah, Annazel, Antenette, Angela, Tammy Sue, Amber; nephews: Joe, Harold, Jonathon, Justin, Sean, Marc, Chris and numerous great nieces and nephews with many friends.

Donna was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. No matter what the situation Donna (Mom) would always be there for you. Even at her worst she was still trying do anything to make someone smile or laugh...She had some of the best jokes and stories then anyone else I know. Donna (Mom) was always positive even in the most negative situations. She has shown us all what it’s like to be a strong, wonderful, kind person. We are better people for having known her. She left a lasting impression on everyone’s lives that she touched.

Donna spent the last 14 years of her career as a dedicated employee of Chicago Title. She left a lasting impression on all of her coworkers as a team player with an amazing work ethic. She was always in early and stayed late – no one worked harder than Donna did. She had such a love and passion for her job and blossomed over the years into a top notch Executive Assistant and Project Manager. She was always the person that could get things done, keep you on task and do it all with a smile on her face, a great attitude, and sense of humor. Donna continued her duties at Chicago Title throughout her courageous battle. She would not have it any other way and will be truly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her not only as a coworker, but as a true friend who would drop everything to help.

She is loved and will be missed by everyone that knows her.

Visitation will begin on Friday, January 31, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079. A Funeral Service will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at 12:30 p.m.
