On March 24, 1950 a bouncing baby girl was born to Mildred Mims and James P. Reeder in Dubberly, Louisiana., whom they named Dorothy. On August 10, 2015 Dorothy Mims departed this life and was greeted at the gates of Heaven by her Mother Mildred Mims; Father James P, Reeder; sons Vincent Mims and Richard Lee Fontenot, Jr; brothers; Louis Mims and Raymond Mims; sisters Gail Bell and Marsha Robinson; uncles Johnny Mims, Charles Mims, Milton Mims and Thomas Mims and aunt Sarah Mims. Left to cherish her memories are: sons Marcus jones and Victor Mims; daughters Nikkindra Mims and Sherrita Arvie; brother James Reeder and sister Billy Newton; eighteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
