Dorothy Jane Watson Noaker

She was preceded by her mother, father, brother, husband and all of her first cousins.

She is survived by her daughters Linda and Laura, grandsons Kevin and his wife Allyson, grandson Timothy, great granddaughter Kayla and great grandsons Jack, Gavin and Kaden.

Dottie had numerous friends who will miss her kind, gentle and humorous spirit. She was a generous woman who always wanted the best for everyone. Dottie spent 39 years working at Channel 13 where she met hundreds of movie stars and celebrities. After retirement, she enjoyed day trips with her husband and gardening.

In lieu of flowers, it was Dorothy’s wish that everyone perform a random act of kindness in her remembrance. She also supported the Houston SPCA, Fort Bend County Meals on Wheels and the Arbor Day Foundation. Dorothy was a prolific gardener and would be pleased, or as she used to say, “tickled”, to know that a tree had been planted in her name.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Earthman Funeral Directors in the Hunters Creek Chapel, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024.
