Hard to believe you are gone, I know you were ready to go be with dad. I am happy that you are no longer suffering with sickness and are home with your Lord.

God, decided it was time for you to go home and be with your family.  I will miss our talks, our holidays & dinners with you 
and dad.    I think of you and dad everyday,  love you both, the emptiness will pass in time, but missing you two will never fade away.  Until we see each other in Heaven,

I'm so glad you're finally with Clivy.  I know you had a great reunion with your family. We have peace knowing you're in Heaven, there's no sickness or pain. You have a Heavenly body.  Dorothy & Clivy  you're missed, but will never be forgotten. I know Dorothy, you worried because family has drifted apart,  Bobby told you, Mom it's time with you & Pops.  I have over 50 yrs of memories, some great & some not so great.  We didn't get along the first 15 yrs, I respected you & over the years we learned, no one is perfect & no one believes the way you think they should, but as long as we  Accept the Lord / God as Our Savior, that's all that matters that we serve the Lord, there will always be those that don't live life, way you want them to, sad but true. But, we Pray for family to love & worship the Lord.  #1/2 grandsons, have fond memories of both of you supporting them in every sport they played - or raced in. Great fishing, hunting, camping, playing chicken foot, spades, fish, battle, domino's, etc., your first 4 great grandchildren-have good memories-#1 Great grandson-said his memory is playing Wii, all 4 said memories of pop-sickles, lots of  hugs & kisses all the time.  We're glad you're home & reunited with all your family and hopefully all of us one day will  join you in Heaven.  We Love & Miss both of you very much. You're in the Land of the Living, You'll never be alone. You're HOME. God's Promise to you, has been fulfilled, hope you have met your little granddaughter (our little girl, we lost)  I know Jesus has her. Please send me a Rainbow or Butterfly letting us know every time you are with US..  We Love you & miss you.

I will always miss the times when I could just pick up the phone and call you for just about anything! I miss you so much and miss telling you everything about my life and you would just love to hear anything I would have to tell you. I will always miss the memories of PawPaw, you, and I spending time at the lake and going fishing on the boat and having fish frys later that night! I would always love spending the weekends at your house and watching westerns and all our favorite movies! Also when we were hungry, we would go to What-A-Burger and eat chicken dinners and ice cream! I will always love and miss you and wish you could meet my new Wife, Maddie! You would love her! Well, I love you Grandma ... Rest In Peace :)

I have missed you so much -- wanting to pick up the phone & call you so many times!  And yet you have only been gone now for only a short month.  I miss our prayer times together & long talks.  I am so sad these will no longer exist.  May your legacy of prayer & sharing Jesus continue to bring forth God's Best for those you loved & prayed for!  I know that was always a big hope of yours!   Knowing how much you missed Dad & now you both are re-joined, I can only imagine it was quite a celebration in Heaven when you arrived!  I know in my heart that you are truly the happiest ever now -- no concerns, no stress, no pain -- just Jesus!  So sorry to see you go -- but so glad you are no longer struggling!

Dear Debbie, Bobby and Brenda –
My family moved next door to you in your Houston neighborhood around 1959-60 when I was just 5 years old.  While my memories of that time aren’t as clear as I would like, I do distinctly recall how sweet and genuine your Mom was.  I remember the kindness and comfort that she brought into our home when my Dad died in 1967.  That meant a lot to me because, of course, my Mom was pretty distraught and it was a difficult time for our family.  When I read the words from the multiple posts, it sounds like she never changed a bit over the years. And when I also look at the pictures on Facebook, I see your Mom’s beautiful sweet smile in every one. I will never forget this wonderful person and I am so very sorry for your loss.  My heart and thoughts are with you and your family.

The first time I ever met Mrs. Phillips was at Brenda and Paul's 25th wedding anniversary party.  Mr. Phillips wanted to leave but Mrs. Phillips refused until he danced with her.  I knew then that she was a lady who loved life and I know that she is dancing with her love in heaven.  I pray for you all to find peace.

Hey Grandma,

You will be missed but glad you are reunited with Grandpa. I’m happy and grateful we were able to share  some of my biggest moments including my wedding, and you being able to meet Blake and Brenna.

Glad I got to spend time with you on your traditional Wednesday night activities with my mom.

I will always think back to when you kept Brittany and I as kids and got to play cards, chicken foot and you taking us to the pool and park. 

I’m sad you are gone but glad you are home. Love you.

Dearest Mom - 

Although I am saddened that you are no longer here with me, I know in my heart that it was time for you to reunite with Dad in heaven and see our Lord Jesus!   I cannot imagine how sweet and joyful of a reunion it was on December 13th when you saw Dad and your family again.  

It was an honor to have cared for you and Dad over these past 8 years and be there with you both during your passing.  I will miss our Wednesday night dinners eating together, watching the cooking channel and Jimmy Swaggart on television and us talking over the phone each day.   I will miss you so much!  I love you dearly and will cherish all of our memories that we had together.

Had lots of good times with Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Clivy in our camping and fishing days! I know she is rejoicing in heaven! We used to have many conversations about how good God is! She would get so excited talking about her Lord and it made her so happy! I cannot imagine the joy she is experiencing now sitting at His feet!  I know she will be missed but it is truly a celebration!

You will be forever missed and are dearly loved! I hope you and Grandpa are having a blast reunited again! Until we meet again... I love you Grandma! 

dorothy...many fond memories will be remembered of us all playing dominoes , cards and chicken foot...all the Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings that made you so happy...me kidding with you and giving you a hard time often ( it was all kidding)......you allowing Paul and I to have beer in your box (i know we took it all home or drank it)but you still allowed it even though you did not want to......you loving and caring for our boys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... I feel blessed that we met through your beautiful daughter and I could not have asked for a better mother-in law...I know that you are happy to be with Clivy in heaven ...You will be missed and if I can behave I will see you guys in heaven someday but I still have lots to do on Earth!!!!!!...love ya Randy 

We are lifting prayers of strength and comfort for your family., especially in this Christmas season. God welcomed a “good and faithful servant” home.  What a privilege to spend a little time with Dorothy over the last year.  My fondest memories with her include a couple of “ladies dinner nights out” spent giggling with Brenda and my own mother,  and most recently holding her hand in prayer as she told me her favorite hymn was “What a Friend We Have In  Jesus”.   Indeed, she is a friend of Jesus.

Aunt Dorothy was such a sweet lady always had a smile on her face and such a cute little laugh.Now She is singing with the angels and having a reunion with all the family in heaven. Praying for all of you.
