Douglas Emmett Fay

Emmett Fay, age 84 was born to Minus and Norabell Foster Fay on January 18, 1927 in Miami, Florida. A resident of Houston for 50 years, he entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 30, 2011. Emmett leaves to cherish fond memories, his loving wife of 60 years, Mabel Fay; daughter, Patricia Watson; son, Michael Fay and wife Susan; grandchildren, Chris Arbing and wife Amber, Kimberly Wilson and husband Aaron, Cory Sheldon and wife Wendy and Violet Medina and husband Joe; great-grandchildren, Jastin, Kaileen, Jaci, Evan, Rylee, Cory, Jr., Sidney Elizabeth, Hannah and Joey. He is reunited with his parents and one brother, John Paul Fay. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Pat H. Foley & Co. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Pat H. Foley & Co. He will be laid to rest with full military honors at Houston National Cemetery at Noon.
