

On November 4,1934 a babygirl was born to Kenny Johnson & Margarette POLK. who they named Erma Jean. She confesssed her life to christ at an early age she was baptized at Brown chapel AME she later moved her membership to IME methodist church under the leadership of bishop L.C. Graves. At the time of her demised she was still a member. She was educated in Houston Independent School District. Erma was employed by Jesspen Stadium and Klein ISD. After retirement she still continued to work in her community serving family friends and anyone else who needed a helping hand, meal, or just a place to lay there head. Erma's Husband Mother, Father, sister, Son all proceeded her in death. Erma Jean was an active part of so many of our lives. She was loved by many as an Aunt, Friend, Mother, Grandmother, Great Aunt. There will never be one to replace her she will always live within us and through us. She leaves to cherish her precious Memories, One daughter Barbara Ann Booker (Charles) & grandkids, two nieces Margaret Florence, Rochelle Burnett -Miller (Dan) two nephews Leon Burnette & Leonard Session (Natalie) also a host of nieces, nephews & great nieces nephew's. Last but not least a very special Thank you to her great niece who so graciously & selflessly took care Vida Florence
