Edith Alene Smith, born November 23, 1917 passed away December 2, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard “Carl” Smith; son, Charles Wayne Smith and granddaughter, Terri Smith Setson. Edith will be greatly missed by her son, Jerry Smith and his wife Carolyn; granddaughter Sherri Stanley and her husband Danny; great grandchildren, Mitchell Kinard, Jessica Hammons and husband Josh and Kilee Jo Smith; great great-grandchildren, Landon, Waylon and soon to be with us, Tori, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, December 4, 2011 at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00am Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Brookside Family Chapel with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
