Edwin Ray Clarkson, born July 24, 1935 passed away January 12, 2014. He is preceded in death by his wife Gayle Clarkson and daughter, Melanie Clarkson. Edwin will be missed by his son, David Clarkson and daughter-in-law Carolyn; grandchildren, Bradly Clarkson and wife Jacqueline, Madison Clarkson and Miranda McBride; great grandson, Gage Monceaux. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, January 17, 2014 at Brookside Funeral Home. Graveside service will be conducted at 9:00 am Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Brookside Memorial Park. A memorial service will begin at 10:30 am Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Atascocita United Methodist Church 19325 Pinehurst Trail Dr. Humble TX 77346. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Atascocita United Methodist Church in memory of Edwin.
