Since birth, Eliana has showed us the true meaning of strength and resilience.
She spent two unpredictable months in the NICU with her parents never leaving her side.
Despite the unknown truth about her health, Eliana never failed to give us hope. Hope that in the next years she would be kept bright eyed and adored.
After Eliana’s first birthday, she was diagnosed with Aicardi Goutieres Syndrome, which is an extremely rare disease that affects the brain and immune system. Although this being progressive and incurable, Eliana’s presence in this world was not only to fill the hearts of her family, but to raise awareness on medically complex diseases.
Eliana was constantly showered with love by her parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. She certainly left her mark on everyone who has crossed her journey, from nurses and therapist, to her supporters on social media. She captured our hearts with her adorable face and princess persona.
Eliana Grace celebrated her 2nd birthday full of love, laughter, family, and friends, and that will continuously be cherished.
The Albarran’s would like to give a special thanks to their team at Texas Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Seema R Lalani, Dr. Tiphanie Vogel, Dr. Ginelle O’Garro, and everyone involved in keeping our Eliana comfortable during her time with us.
Eliana will be forever loved, forever missed, and always in our hearts.
