Elisa Florence Garcia

Elisa Florence Flores Garcia, born April 7, 1936 in Poteet, Texas, peacefully passed away October 31, 2014 in Houston, Texas. Elisa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed. She was happily married for 49 years to her beloved Conrado Garcia. They have two daughters; Juliet Garcia of Austin, Texas and Yvette Campassi of Katy, Texas. She adored her triplet granddaughters: Shelby Ann Campassi, Taylor Christine Campassi, and Abby Yvette Campassi. Elisa will be remembered for her gracious spirit, warm caring personality, and contagious laughter. She had a special way of connecting with everyone and making them feel very welcome.

Elisa and Conrado together owned Medical Square Pharmacy since 1976. They are members of the St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Elisa was a proud member of the Ima Hogg Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. Elisa and Conrad were also members of the Sembradores de Amistad Educational Foundation where she really enjoyed dancing at their annual Posadas. She also played the French Horn in the Poteet High School Band.

Elisa was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Louisa Lozano Flores and her father, Albert W. Flores. Elisa is survived by her siblings; Mary Ernestine Zepeda, Gloria Flores Rojas, and Fred Albert Flores, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2014, in the chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2014, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail. The interment is to follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.

After the interment, all are invited to greet the family during a reception at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home.
