

Elizabeth Ann (Leto) Harrington 68, of Cypress Texas, passed away on February 26, 2021, after a lengthy, hard fought courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on August 5, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan to Nicholas and Caroline Leto.
Elizabeth (Betsy to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her) married the love of her life, John W. Harrington, on November 16, 1975 in Houston Texas, after moving from Michigan to begin a new life together in January of that same year. Together, They formed an inseparable loving bond, forged through hard work, companionship, understanding, and total commitment to one another, no matter the odds. Along the way, she raised two wonderful children, Nichole and John (Jay), doted over two grandchildren, Makenzie and Kendall, and was most dedicated to her loving husband, John.
Betsy was a selfless person who reached out to most everyone.. She had countless friends whom she cared deeply about, sharing many wonderful times together. Betsy was the ultimate friend who could be counted on in good times, and bad. All this community she accomplished while working thirty five plus years in the retail industry, ultimately becoming an account executive for the Southwest division, of a national retail brokerage. Her family, friends, and business associates will always remember her as one who loved unconditionally, and reached out to all.
Betsy leaves behind her husband of forty five years, John, children Nichole Williams and Jay Harrington, daughter in law Ashley Harrington, grandchildren Makenzie and Kendall, brothers Peter Leto and Joseph Leto, and their wives Julie and Paula respectively, and her sister Patti Cote. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family , etc. She is preceded in death by her parents Nicholas and Caroline Leto.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on March 26, 2021 at 11:00 am. A private ceremony will be held at a later date, whereas her ashes will be spread at the location of her wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude. org. or Star of Hope Mission.
