Elva G. Flores

Elva Gandara Flores, age 77years, went home to be with the Lord at her home in Houston Texas, Sunday April 26 2015. She was born January 22, 1938 in San Juan de Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico. She lived in Houston for the most part of her life. She was a devoted wife to her husband and children. She loved cooking, her love was for her family. She loved to walk through the park. The flowers gave her so much happiness. Her gift of God was to be generous with everyone, always thinking of others and not herself. She was beautiful inside and out. She was greatly loved and will truly be missed.

Survivors are her husband, Jesus Flores B, children,Yolanda Eddins, Israel Flores, Jesús Flores Jr, Jaime Flores, Silvia Fendrick, Cynthya Flores, grandchildren, Joshua Davis, Jeremy Davis, Noah Fendrick, Isabella Fendrick, Summer Flores.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral Home, 7010 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas 77081 with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Magnum Rd. Houston, Texas 77092. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

Nació 22 dé Enero 1938 en San Juan de Sabinas, Coahuila, México. Vivió en Houston por la mayor parte de su de su vida. Fue una esposa devota a su esposo y sus hijos. Le encatava cocinar, su amor era para su familia. Le gustaba mucho caminar por el parque. Las flores le daban mucha felizidad. Su Don de Dios era ser generosa con todos, siempre pensando en los demás y no en ella misma. Era hermosa por dentro y por fuera.

Sobrevivientes son su esposo Jesús B Flores, hijos, Yolanda Eddins, Israel Flores, Jesús Flores Jr, Jaime Flores, Silvia Fendrick, Cynthya Flores, nietos, Joshua Davis, Jeremy Davis, Noah Fendrick, Isabella Fendrick, Summer Flores.

Visitacion sera el Miercoles, 29 de Abril 2015 , de 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. en la Funeraria Advantage, 7010 Chetwood Dr, Houston, Texas 77081 con un servicio religioso a las 7 p.m. La Misa sera el Jueves, 30 de Abril 2015 a las 10:00 a.m. en la Iglesia Catolica St. Ambrose, 4213 Magnum Rd. Houston, Texas 77092. Sepultura sera en el panteon Forest Park Lawndale.
