Enedelia Pena

Enedelia "Ene" F. Peña, of age 81, joined her Lord on February 23, 2022. Enedelia was born on August 6, 1940 to Pedro Flores and Victoria Sarabia. She attended elementary school in Nadadores Coahuila and Academia Commercial in San Buenaventura Coahuila Mexico, where she went to work at the Precidencia Municipal in Nadadores. She later met her husband, Adolfo Peña and married on July 22, 1961 until March 28, 2015 when he went to be with his Lord. Enedelia worked many jobs in Houston but her favorite was working for "La Voz Eterna" a christian publications and studies. Her favorite memories were learning Arts and Crafts and cooking lessons with her friends "Cuquita" and Carmen. Whom later became her sisters in Christ after inviting her to Lindale church of Christ where she was baptized.

Enedelia is survived by her sisters Maria Elena Niño, and Alma Rosa Jimenez; daughters Sandra Gonzales, Rosa and husband Daniel Melendez; son Jose Antonio Peña; grandchildren Eric Gonzales, Marissa N. Gonzales, Jennifer and husband Kenneth Melnik, Jose A. Peña Jr., Victoria Peña and Cindy Peña; great grandchildren Deanerys Garza, Eamon A. Waite and Amelia J. Melnik and numerous nieces and nephews daughters

A visitation for Enedelia will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A burial will occur Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
