His truly favorite thing to do was dove hunting and the challenges it brought to him and looking forward every year to dove hunt. He also loved deer hunting, especially with his daughter, sons and grandkids. Fishing was another favorite - Catching catfish, bass at so many lakes as well as gulf fishing for redfish and drum. Ernest and his wife looked forward to their annual trip to Alaska to go sockeye salmon, king salmon and halibut fishing and had done for 20years. Always bringing back all the fish to share with family and friends. He loved his garden and shared the vegetables to all enjoy.
