Ernst Dan Proske passed away November 16, 2011. He was a lifelong resident of Houston born January 9, 1955 and graduated from Spring Branch High School in 1973. Ernst was an avid outdoors man, an automobile enthusiast, and loved his '77 Corvette.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Mae Proske. Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years, Isabel C. Proske, his daughter, Tina Elizabeth Gutierrez, a step-son, Israel Guadalupe Perez, father, Alfred A. Proske, brother, David A. Proske, sister, Janie E. Proske, and his grandson, Jacob Ness Gutierrez.
Pallbearers include Danny Preston Coats, Roger Dale Coats, Michael Dan Coats, Doug Preston Coats, Phillip Wendt, Russell Henry Jordan, Jose Eleuterio Perez Jr. Dennis L. Loftin, Willie Lane, and Joe Flores IV will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
Visitation for Mr. Proske will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 20, 2011 in the Chapel at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services are the following morning at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 21, 2011 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gene Richards officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
