Born January 16, 1968 in Houston, Tx. to the parents Teresa Alaniz and Daniel Alaniz Sr. Esrther grew up in the the Memorial area and graduated from Barbara Jordan High School for Vocational Careers. She married Joe Anthony Rodriguez in May 1986, and lived in Houston. Her greatest pride and joy was being mother to her three sons, Joe Anthony Rodriguez Jr., Alan Daniel Rodriguez and Steven Marcus Rodriguez.
Esther's courage and fighting spirit during her cancer diagnosis and treatment was an inspiration. In addition to her husband and sons, Esther is survived by mother Teresa, sister Rachael and brother Daniel of Houston, Tx. She is preceded in death by her father Daniel Alaniz Sr.
A memorial service will be held at Crespo Funeral Home in Houston, Tx. on Monday May 2, 2016 from 3pm-8pm with a prayer serviced from 6pm-7pm.
