I have so many memories of you. Living there for 20 years there has been so much we did together. You were my Earthly covering and my spiritual father. I'll never forget all you taught me, all the words of wisdom you spoke and all the blessings you gave to me and my children. You never spoke a cross word to me.  I'll never forget 3 weeks ago when you looked at me and told me you love me. I will hold it all in my heart till I see you again. Rest in peace and I love you and miss you terribly.

Il never forget u popo Gene you have been one of biggest blessings in my life from the time I met u ...I will always remember doing outside work with you and Nathan I will remember every thanksgiving you praying over our meals thanks giving won’t be the same with out you I remember when you told me the day of my wedding that I looked so gorgeous even when I felt as if I didn’t you encourage me in so many ways I will always remember walking into the garage and you saying hi Mija not only were you my husband grandfather you were mine to me as well I will always remember the beautiful things you taught me and Nathan I cherish all the times you helped us in our home when we 1st got it I would wake up every moring to you cutting grass and I would think wow my popo Gene is such a strong man I adore you I’m so many ways every time I look at the water holes I’m gonna say Lefty Lucy righty tidy ❤️ It’s not the end it’s the beginning till we meet again 🙏🏻

My Popo Gene was the most loving, helpful and caring person i know he would never hesitate to help someone out or show you how to do something if you cant figure it out. He has been the biggest blessing in my life growing up with him he showed me things like my Dad and he was like my dad i cant believe the day has come i Thank Jesus for accepting my Great Grandfather he was a mighty man of God not one day even till his last did he not pray and Thank God. I love you with all my heart Popo Gene and Thank you for blessing my son one last time he will always know who you are and love you and i will always miss you everyday and cutting grass by your side and doing all the things we did when i was a kid you took me in as your son and you showed me the best and i truly thank God for you. Jesus is coming soon tho and we will all be gathered once again in the Kingdom of Heaven praising our Savior.
