Eva Elizabeth York

Eva Elizabeth York went to be with her Lord on October 16, 2016. She was born on November 13, 1927 to parents Frank Zabodyn and Rosie Svec Zabodyn in East Bernard, Texas. Eva was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend that will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved her. She survived by daughter Shirley Kathryn York-Jones and her husband Bruce M.; granddaughters: Lori Kathryn Lassetter and her husband Larry and Kelley Elizabeth Bryant; grandson James Brian Burton; great grandchildren: Blain Michael Lassetter, Laney Kathryn Lassetter, Allison Leann Lassetter, Kaitlyn Paige Bryant and Kristen Ann Bryant; great-great granddaughter Violet Leann Wright and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Eva is preceded in death by her husband James Richard York; daughter Patricia Ann York and parents.

The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home in the Family Chapel followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park & Cemetery, following the burial the family will have a reception in the Grand Hospitality Room at Brookside Funeral Home.
