Evangeline Marie Howard

Evangeline Marie Howard, a beautiful, loving, kind and giving angel was born November 25, 1969 in Houston, Texas to Martin and Willie Mae Howard. This was their baby girl. She departed this life September 6, 2013. Evangeline was a joy and light to her family, friends, employees and coworkers. Everyone loved the devoted mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend. She was a caterpillar that has evolved into a butterfly. Now, she can spread her wings in heaven. Her mother preceded her in death in 1995, now they are together. She was employed by Aldine Independent School District for twenty years. As a Head Custodian at several of the Aldine schools. She was well loved and respected by her employees, co-workers, supervisors and friends. She leaves behind her father Martin L. Howard, Sr. of Winnfield, Louisiana; Benjamin Jones, her husband of twenty-five years; three daughters Ashley Howard, Latarvia Howard and Lakeisha Howard all of Houston, Texas; one son Christopher Howard of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren Marquel, Dajanay and Montrae; one son-in-law Terrance Williams; four sisters Bonnie Barnes, Marvin Howard, Vera Moore and Sandra Howard all of Houston, Texas; two brothers Martin L. Howard, Jr. of Houston, Texas and Aaron Howard of Winnfield, Louisiana and host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
