Bro. Floyd will be greatly missed. He was a blessing to all he came in contact with. Praying for ALL of his loved ones, especially his lovely bride, Alva. I so admire you mighty woman of GOD!  May blessings of love, peace, and comfort prevail.

Hey Unc!!  No words can truly describe the way that I feel right now.  Sad because I won't see your face, but at peace because I KNOW that you are with the Lord.  Your work here on earth is done.  You completed the assignment that you were given and Im sure that you passed the final exam.  You are a true gem, almost extraordinary.  Any one else would have likely had pity parties for themselves everyday..but not you!  I can hear you saying, "You know what Ke...it's all good!"  That is something that I will take with me.  It can always be worse, but I will make the best of what I am given.  Truly an example for all to emulate.  I love you Unc and I am grateful that I got a chance to spend time with you in July!  Rest easy Marine.  Love you forever.

Our hearts are saddened to hear Pastor Floyd's passing, but we are comforted to know that for the saint, if we are absent from the body, we are present with the Lord. Floyd was a joy to encounter. Our love and prayers to God are with you. Remember that He is the God of all comfort.

Mr. Perry, I am honored to be able to write on the page of an honorable man that I did not have the pleasure of meeting. However you gave me that honor through your daughter, Gigi. She would share with me, the love you had for the lord, how good God has been to you and your family. And that has rubbed off on her. Her smile, and huge heart ❤ for people. That's a gift. So to the family, you're hearts are sad, but rejoice this day for in heaven they are rejoicing, shouting, and worshipping. God Bless

To the Beloved Perry family , My husband Roosevelt Tyler and wife Rena Tyler knew them as prayer warriors at Lakewood, dedicated, and loyal to serving the Lord, Floyd always had a smile on his face, his dedicated wife also kept that smile, always giving gifts to some of the volunteers, not complaining, but working for the Lord, you will be missed by many., absent from the body, but present with the Lord. Even though I have never got a chance to meet you in person, I wanted to say you have moved so many people. Thank you for your service with this country. I will always remember GiGi telling me your famous saying Your Blessed and Highly Favored. I will have to agree with you yes you are. Your home, you have won your race, you are CHAMPION.

My deepest condolences to Mrs Alva and the entire family for the loss of a great humble man of God full of joy, gratitude, peace, love and generosity. I thank the Lord for allowing Mr Perry and I to cross paths. He came into my life as a client and left to be with the Lord as a dear friend that I grew to love as a brother in Christ. Mr Perry as I right these words I shed tears of joy remembering our wonderful talks, laughs, and visits, and shed tears of sadness knowing we won't have them anymore. Soon enough we will get to in God's kingdom. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for also being a kind hearted mentor full of wisdom that always had the right words to comfort, guide, remind us of God's love for us and His perfect plan and timing for everything, as well that easy ability to make us laugh. Will never forget those moments and will forever treasure your words of wisdom, your smile and laughter that was contagious. The boys, Juan and I will try by best to do as you always said, "Follow Peace". As well your infamous the 3 B's! XOXO

Floyd, I never had the pleasure of meeting you but know your daughter well and she has an amazing positive spirit flowing thru her heart that I understand you have as well. God has blessed so many with your love and spirit and will continue that thru all those who you touched. 
The ones left behind for now are filled with sorrow but heaven is celebrating your homecoming.

Floyd, you where a true example of what a brother-in-law should be. You always had a kind and uplifting word for everyone you met. I loved your positive spirit in-spite of your handicap. You were always in my corner and I thank you for that. You truly loved my sister and you showed it and I really thank you for that. You will truly be missed here on earth but I know that you are in a better place and with a new body, no more sickness. You were limited in your ability to walk but now you are walking around heaven on streets of gold. I miss you tremendously but I know one day we will be reunited. I've cried tears of sadness but that was merely because I will no longer see you on earth and hear you call me Squenna but I also cried tears of joy because I know that you are in Heaven resting in the arms of Jesus. So rest in peace Uncle Flurd and as you would always say "FOLLOW PEACE" and that is my goal to do everyday.  Missing you deeply.... your favorite sister-in-law (smile)
