Frank Edward Knight

Frank Edward Knight was born August 31, 1939 in Dearborn, Michigan to Louie and Lola Knight. He married Sharon Keefer and had 3 children. They divorced in the late ‘60’s. In 1974 he married Linda BeDell and moved to Houston, Texas. They made their home in Houston and each of Frank’s children joined them to make a real family.

Frank loved many things: playing contract bridge, freshwater fishing, golf, a little gambling at the slot machines, travel, and listening to his wife sing women’s barbershop in her quartet and chorus. He made many friends in each of those activities.

Frank died on June 11th, 2015 from complications from pneumonia and heart failure. He is survived by his wife, Linda Kay Knight, his son, Frank Edward Knight Jr. and wife, Cookie, his son Stephen Michael Knight, his daughter, Sherie Dorcus Ratcliff and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be missed.

Frank will be cremated and there will be no funeral service. Instead there will be a Celebration of Life Gathering on August 22, 2015 at Brookside Funeral Home. The time will be determined later but do save the date.
