Frank Carl Woods Jr.

Frank Carl Woods, Jr. went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2017. He was born on January 10, 1925 in DeRidder, Louisiana to parents Frank and Emily Woods. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother and friend that will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Edith Hubbard Woods; children: Shirley Smith, Terry Woods and his wife Jan, Susan Taylor and Gary Woods and his wife Beth; grandchildren: Danny Livingston, Holli Burkey, Bryan Woods, Christopher Smith, Kevin Woods and Brittany Diller; great grandchildren: Dusty Fincher, Matthew Livingston, Benjamin Smith, Anthony Burkey, Brady Woods, Caleb Burkey, Maggie Woods, Chloe Diller and Colton Diller; brother Floyd Woods and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Frank is preceded by his parents and silbings: Morris Woods, Winnie Woods and J.H. “Ducy” Woods.

The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home in the Family Chapel followed by a burial in Brookside Memorial Park and Cemetery.
