Freddie Ambriz Dominguez

On November 4, 1972, Freddie married the love of his life, Janie Dominguez, whom he first met at Marshall Middle School in Houston. Their bond and devotion to one another remained an enduring example of love and partnership throughout their lives.

Freddie was a skilled mechanic and worked as a transmission specialist for 19 years. Beyond his career, he was known for his generosity, kindness, and willingness to lend a hand, especially when it came to his family and friends with their vehicles. He had a passion for fishing, spending time outdoors, and most of all, supporting and caring for his loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Janie Dominguez; his brother Mark Dominguez; and his uncle Emilio Carpio.

Freddie is survived by his son Freddie Dominguez Jr., daughter-in-law Jennie Dominguez and his mother Felicia Dominguez. Grandchildren Melissa Dominguez, Freddie Dominguez III and Kennedy Dominguez; Great Grandchildren Logan Villegas and Janie Villegas. He will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A visitation for Freddie will be held Friday, August 29, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A rosary service will occur Friday, August 29, 2025 at 7:00 PM, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003.

Additional visitation will take place Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the same location, followed by a chapel service at 11:00 am. A committal service will follow Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy., Houston, TX.

Freddie will be remembered for his hard work, generous heart, and the love he poured into his family and friends. His memory will live on in the lives of all who were fortunate to know him.
